I had to cut some stems from one of our trees today. They look so pretty this time of year, but they only last a few days. Usually, hurricane force winds blow through and strip every tree of their beautiful flowers. Before that happens I wanted 1 day to enjoy them.

Funny you should mention that...when Jeff saw the flowers tonight I pointed out how pretty they look on the new countertops! Yes, I LOVE my new kitchen. It's amazing what a few updates can do!
What kind of tree did those come from? Our neighbors have one and I'm very jealous of it and contemplating a trip to the nursery!
